Anita Barone

Barone performed the role of Gail Cunningham in The Shoes in Seinfeld season 4. Barone was a chef known as Elaine Benes who wanted shoes. Barone was a cast member on Carol & Company, starring alongside Carol Burnett in the early 90s. Barone also played Carol Willick Ross Geller's ex-wife during her first appearance on Friends. Jane Sibbett, who replaced Barone following her departure from the show because she wanted to play a part-time character with a greater role, took her place. Barone was the lead in The Jeff Foxworthy Show's first season in 1995-1996 and The War at Home, from 2005-2007. In 2000, Barone was also a co-star on the sitcom Daddio. Barone has also appeared in Desperate housewives, Curb Your Enthusiasm Quantum Leap Empty Nest Chicago Hope Castle Do Not disturb Ally McBeal Caroline In The City Party of Five, The Larry Sanders Show and Desperately Housewives. Barone received her the Best Supporting Actress Award from Methodfest 2005 for the role she played in One Last Ride. Barone's role as a regular in the Disney Channel show Shake It Up was first introduced in the year 2010, about three years following The War at Home finished its run. She played Officer Georgia Jones, the mother of Bella Thorne's CeCe Jones. Matthew Glave, Barone's husband and actor Matthew Glave, guest starred in the role of J.J. Jones in two episodes.
