Beautiful pics of Tamara Day and Sarah Stiles feet & legs
My son played inside a playpen, while I sat for 12 hours cleaning the floors, and taking down the wallpaper. Ha! It was beginning to seem logical, however it was still far from being finished. The house would need an enormous amount of work and a love of shopping. To stay within budget, I began taking my kids to estate sales in search of diamonds. It was a weekly tradition that we would stroll through estate and garage sales on Thursdays and Saturdays, purchasing a mix of new and old pieces. I then spent the rest of my time painting and sanding out in the driveway. Furniture looked this way... and that's where I got my passion to restore. After our home was fully decorated, I couldn't quit! In the market in town I set up a little space and sold some pieces. I was able to outgrow the area because I had numerous pieces I needed. I started having open houses at my house that saw more than 1 000 visitors came through on one weekend, and purchase whatever they saw on the ground floor. Growing Days was founded in my house. The business I was running was growing and my family was also growing. In some ways, I found the ideal way to balance being a mom as well as starting my own venture. Growing Days just seemed to fit. Nora came into our lives in 2013 and became our fourth baby. My business's direction was fantastic, but I had to get some down time. I took some time away from furniture that was vintage to enjoy some quality time with my children. That was exactly what i needed. It wasn't until a couple of months when the phones began to ring. People were calling me and asking for help with decorating their homes and interior improvements. Most of them were people who came into my residence at my open house for furniture. After a while I started taking on clients according to my schedule. In no time, I was managing numerous accounts as well as a home remodeling business. It is likely that I would have laughed if somebody had informed me that my venture was going to be the premise of an upcoming television show in the DIY Network. It's funny to think back on it.
