April Lockhart
April Lockhart was born on July 4, 1995. When she was in the seventh grade, she started playing guitar and taking piano lessons which ignited her interest in writing songs. April Lockhart wrote her first song"Different" when she was twelve years old. When she was 14 April devoted a great deal of time to creating song concepts and practicing her music. In the following months, she started taking notes together with her dad on trips to LA in addition to NY. April also added additional themes to the song "Take My Hand" to help her friends who dealt with problems like peer pressure, problems, as well as teenager suicide. Lockhart has her own fan base and also works as a lifestyle blogger at the renowned Ilia the Clean Beauty brand. She was not born with a left-hand, which is why she's the person she is. However, that's not the full story. Lockhart's Instagram account doesn't ignore her disability. However, it doesn't emphasize her disability. The point? It is important to remember that each of us has many faces, our identities vary and we are much greater than the bodies we wear. Lockhart is interviewed via video in Nashville. "I don't wish for it to dictate my existence. I do not want to be only identified as a specialist in disability. It doesn't impact my day-to-day life. I still do all the normal things and have adjusted to the limitations of my disability. But, I consider it to be a vital component of my life. Lockhart inspires us to keep striving to be self-accepting. She admits that she has had periods where she felt insecure about dressing in certain styles that displayed her arms. She now wears whatever she likes. And she posts pictures on social networks. It's all a process is the key thing I don't know that it will be an end of self-love. This is a process, and I don't think you ever arrive. It's my opinion that having those close to you who truly understand you and can see your heart is really important because they'll be the people who remind you What are you worried about?
